1970s

The Beginnings

Église Évangélique Baptiste L'Eau Vive was founded in the 1970s by a small group of believers eager to live and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Sherbrooke area.

1980s

Growth

During the 1980s, the church experienced a period of significant growth. New families joined the community, ministries diversified, and biblical teaching deepened.

1990s-2000s

A New Chapter

A new chapter opened with the acquisition of a building at 240 rue de Montréal, providing a permanent place for worship, teaching, and fellowship.

Today

Today

Today, Église L'Eau Vive continues its mission of proclaiming the Gospel, teaching the Word of God, and loving our neighbors. We remain committed to serving our community and making disciples of Jesus Christ.

We aspire to be a vibrant faith community that glorifies God, makes disciples of Jesus Christ, and serves our neighbors with love and compassion.
